LIORA
COLORIST, MOSAICIST & TEACHER
Having earned my MA in visual arts from ERG Saint - Luc in Belgium, I went on to specialise in mosaics under the tutelage of Pierre Mesguich in Paris.
I moved to Israel in 1993 and began taking orders for bespoke mosaic projects around the country. My last project of this kind was at the President's residence in Jerusalem.
In 2001 I decided that I wanted to teach mosaic and so I opened my
Studio and began offering courses.
Over the past 18 years I have been privileged to assist my students explore their individual, creative and artistic expression. My greatest pleasure is watching the evolution of students who begin my courses and who, without exception, go on to complete the most beautiful and accomplished artwork.
In 2019 I founded the Jerusalem Color Room. This is the realisation of my dream in which I am able to expand the use of materials and encourage a growing community of women to add color and craftsmanship into their lives.
